Hi everyone,

Sorry about the lack of update on Sunday. A), the scales have died – need new batteries, and b) I have put my back out or strained a muscle or something very sore. I went aquajogging yesterday to keep moving, and am doing the same today. Hopefully taking it easy but still working will continue the downward trend.

The Good Behaviour Continues!

I went to the gym on Tuesday for an hour (abs still sore), then did aqua last night – I was quite surprised how “fit” I felt. Going for an hour aquajog today, and then the gym tomorrow.

Still on this no white stuff diet – I still don’t like kumara! Last night I had it mixed with a little bit of cottage cheese which was quite alright. And the Sweet Chili/Sour Cream wholegrain corn thins are very delicious!

Week 18

And so it begins.

I went to Balance last night – new release class, so lots of different music and all different moves.

My abs HURT!!! I have also realised since I haven’t done Balance in a while how inflexible I am again. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things though. Gym today….

As for eating, I made some soup (saw the recipe in a health magazine) – a packet of soup mix, whatever extra veges, and a can of tomatoes. Quite tasty and quite filling. I have enough for about a week of lunch.

Week 17 – End

Hi all,

Sorry, not a lot of updates this week, we’ve been enjoying the summer and it’s been quite busy with lots of work on.

Exercise this week – 1 x gym session, 2 x hour long swim/aquajog sessions and today I went for a long walk.

Bust: 122cm
Waist: 113cm
Hips: 132cm
Upper Arm: 44cm
Thigh: 71cm

No change from last week. And the scales have died so I am not sure of weightloss this week, although I don’t think I have lost any – I am pleased to maintain though.

Next week I will be properly back into the swing of things – walk and balance tomorrow, gym on Tuesday, aqua on Wednesday, swim on Thursday, gym on Friday and Balance/Zumba on Sunday.

I think I’ve slowed down so much because of the lack of Zumba now for a month (due to having to work on Zumba day). Looking VERy forward to going this weekend!!!

Hi everyone.

Sorry, not many updates this week, I have been caught up in various things.

I have been to the gym and swam/aquajogged for an hour yesterday. Today I am having another session in the water for an hour, and will be going to the gym tomorrow.

Can’t wait for next week when I am back to normal and can get back into Zumba and Balance. Oh, how I have missed you!!!

Speedy Update

Hi everyone.

I have only stood on the scales this morning – no time for measurements (will do that tonight).

122.3kg – which is a 200 gram loss (small but accountable, none the less). Which I am pleased with since I only went to the gym and a swim this week since there has been mucho excitement!

Will post more – I am now going to official at the Santa Parade!

As requested, here are the measurements I have lost:

Was:
Bust: 133cm
Waist: 126cm
Hips: 147cm
Upper Arm: 46cm
Thigh: 80cm

Now:
Bust: 122cm
Waist: 113cm
Hips: 132cm
Upper Arm: 44cm
Thigh: 71cm

Have Lost:
Bust: 11cm
Waist: 13cm
Hips: 15cm
Upper Arm: 2cm
Thigh: 9cm

A total of 50cm – oh my goodness!!!! Who would have guessed I would have lost half a metre! I am especially pleased with my waist, hip and thigh results (especially for a while there I was thinking I wasn’t losing anything off my things – turns out I actually was!).

Dad is alright – he was allowed home yesterday on crutches. The doctor said the little bit of metal went in further than if he got shot with a .22 (ouch!). He also gets to keep the piece of metal.

On the exercise front, I didn’t do anything on Monday as I had other stuff to do. Yesterday I went to the gym for an hour and today is aquarobics. I have been eating well – I had salad with lettuce, capsicum, tomato, cucumber, a slice of shaved ham chopped up, mashed egg and some chickpeas for lunch yesterday. Same again today!

Meusli with 3 slides starwberries and milk for brekkie this morning.

In other news, Dad was admitted to hospital last night after his knee became victim to a piece of cold chisel that pinged off. He had surgery and will be in hospital for a few days on IV antibiotics. So Dad – hope you’re feeling okay and get well soon!! xxx

Week 15 – Finish

Well.

I am actually a bit miffed with the results this week.

Weight: 122.4kg
Measurements:
Bust: 122cm
Waist: 113cm
Hips: 132cm
Upper Arm: 46cm
Thigh: 71cm

No change. After the Balance class, an hour of sweat at the gym, an aqua class, a 2.5km walk, and another sweaty gym session, nothing! Nada, zip, zero.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

And I worked so hard… and I ate so well!

Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming….

Hello.

Sorry for a lack of updates this week, it’s been very busy with working 6 days and managing exercise, plus cooking and cleaning and washing and the never ending lists of things to be done!

I’ve been well behaved this week. I am missing potato like CRAZY, but am starting to like the way of the kumara – I have found it is quite yummy when mashed with things like carrots.

Food diary for the week, well, it has been good. Lots of cereals, salads for lunch, apples and bananas, fruity smoothies, pain unsweetend yogurt with strawberries (thanks Weekend Windback!). I have decided I am going to try and eat more fish – just have to either catch it or find somwehre good to buy it, as it’s not always fresh from the supermarket and I care not for the fish from the Poo Rivers of India!!

I went to Aqua on Wednesday night, but was too tired to go to AquaZumba. I haven’t been right since daylight savings, and I also think that adding the gym in is making me quite sleepy. I went to the gym on Friday and did an hour session. Alas no Zumba or Balance today as I had to work.

I am looking forward to the weigh in this week – hopefully it will be good as I have been good! Tomorrow is also supermarket day so will be getting in a fresh lot of healthy snacks and food. Also, I have purchased the Womens Health Magazine for this month witch came with a fun little “little book of exercises”, so I am going to roadtest and try out these – I may make a review page on here for viewing. There was also some very tasty looking food ideas, so expect further recipes.

Bed time for now – more tomorrow!
