November20

Hello.

Sorry for a lack of updates this week, it’s been very busy with working 6 days and managing exercise, plus cooking and cleaning and washing and the never ending lists of things to be done!

I’ve been well behaved this week. I am missing potato like CRAZY, but am starting to like the way of the kumara – I have found it is quite yummy when mashed with things like carrots.

Food diary for the week, well, it has been good. Lots of cereals, salads for lunch, apples and bananas, fruity smoothies, pain unsweetend yogurt with strawberries (thanks Weekend Windback!). I have decided I am going to try and eat more fish – just have to either catch it or find somwehre good to buy it, as it’s not always fresh from the supermarket and I care not for the fish from the Poo Rivers of India!!

I went to Aqua on Wednesday night, but was too tired to go to AquaZumba. I haven’t been right since daylight savings, and I also think that adding the gym in is making me quite sleepy. I went to the gym on Friday and did an hour session. Alas no Zumba or Balance today as I had to work.

I am looking forward to the weigh in this week – hopefully it will be good as I have been good! Tomorrow is also supermarket day so will be getting in a fresh lot of healthy snacks and food. Also, I have purchased the Womens Health Magazine for this month witch came with a fun little “little book of exercises”, so I am going to roadtest and try out these – I may make a review page on here for viewing. There was also some very tasty looking food ideas, so expect further recipes.

Bed time for now – more tomorrow!

Wednesday

November16

Helloooooo.

Nothing too exciting to report – I did Balance on Monday night and an hour at the gym yesterday. Today I will be doing aqua after work. Nothing much else to say today.

Week 15

November14

Well, it is 7.45am on Monday morning and I have been for a 2.5km walk. Good news, I have cut 7% off my walking time ( last week it took me 30 minutes, this week only 28).

Tonight I am going to Balance.

That is all.

Week 14 (yay!)

November13

Week 14 has come to a close. There are some good results this week!

Weight: 122.4kg
Measurements:
Bust: 122cm
Waist: 113cm
Hips: 132cm
Upper Arm: 46cm
Thigh: 71cm

That is a total of 700 grams gone, and 4cm (finally! 2cm off my arm this week) in measurements.

And now, a graph of weightloss:

Now, I feel obliged to point out, for those of you who are sucky at maths… that is 7.1kg gone!!! SEVEN POINT ONE KILOGRAMS!

And now, my food diary for the last two days:

Friday:
Breakfast – cereal and milk
Lunch – chicken and salad sandwich and a custard square (hehe)
Dinner – Hawaiian Pizza and chips (I know, I know)
But there were no snacks since I was on a course.

Saturday:
Breakfast – Toast and hummus
Lunch – McChicken Combo (whoops!)
Dinner – Mince with onion and mushroom and sundried tomato pesto on toast
Snacks – nil

I have been trying hard for this no white stuff, and was successful until the pizza and the burger. But that’s not too bad, I think. I still lost 700 grams!

And exercise this week – Monday was a walk and Balance, Tuesday was the gym, Wednesday was Aqua, Thursday I was too tired, Friday I was busy, Saturday was balance (thanks Te Zumba for not showing up!) and LOTS of walking around at work (and cleaning, scrubbing and so on) and today is a rest day – although I am working this afternoon so that will be more walking and stuff.

Not too bad.

Thursday

November11

Okay, so Thursday was not so flash – it was a REALLY stressful day at work, so there may or may not have been some stress eating.

I did not go to AquaZumba as I was so tired (it’s hard being stressed) and needed a little more sleep.

Food Diary:
Breakfast – Cereal and milk
Snack – no time for morning snack!
Lunch – 1 chicken and cranberry panini, a salad and a chocolate milkshake
Snack – 1 corn thin
Dinner – 2 chicken drums, roasty kumara, carrot, parsnip, some zucchini, and peas and corn
Pudding – 1/2c natural unsweetened yogurt (which is actually quite yummy).

Friday – I am doing a first aid course today so not at work. Am currently eating cereal and milk. Snacks packed are oranges and apples. Less stressful day, here I come!

Wednesday Food Diary

November10

Whoops! Forgot last night.

Breakfast: slices Molemburg with hummus
Snack: 2 corn thins
Lunch: Sandwich with egg, cucumber and more hummus
Snacks: Apple, 3 corn thins (I was hungry!)
Dinner: a lamb chop with kumara, carrot and parsnip mash, and peas and corn
Pudding: Natural unsweetend yogurt with 4 sliced strawberries.

Yum!

Wednesday’s Exercise Regime

November9

Okay. So. I have decided that after working late on a Tuesday and then not going to sleep until after 11.30pm that getting up early on a Wednesday morning to go for a walk is, at this stage, not practical. I am just too tired and need the extra half hour sleep to be able to function at work properly.

Good news though, I am feeling it after the workout I did yesterday!!

Food Diary – Tuesday

November9

Breakfast – 2 slices Molemburg Low calorie toast with tomato hummus and 2 small scrambled eggs
Snack (post gym) – 2 Corn Thins
Snack – a small bit of ginge house
Dinner-Lunch (at about 5pm) – same salad as yesterday

That is all. Not very good. I’m going to have a fruity smoothie before dinner to help the fruit intake!

The gym was good today, an hour workout and I got all sweaty. It was a little easier today, which was nice.

Gingebread Whare!

November8

Below is the work of the Ginge.

I was very restrained and only ate two M&M’s!

Off to the gym now. Will update tonight with a food diary.

The Healthyness Continues…

November8

Good evening.

Goodness me what a healthy day it has been today!

Food Diary:
Breakfast – the Hubbard’s Real cereal
Snack – 2 corn thins
Lunch – Salad, consisting of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, an egg, chickpeas, capsicum and a bit of hummus
Snack – an apple
Pre-gym snack – a banana
Dinner – chicken sausages, kumara and parsnip mash, peas and corn
Pudding (yes, I know) – a square of Macadamia nut chocolate.

After work I went to balance and worked my abs more. It’s a funny sensation with them there… like there is actually something happening down in there!

Tomorrow I am icing together the gingerbread house (will take a photo and post it here), and then going to the gym before work. Thank goodness for a 1pm start!
